The Power Pilot Scholarship and Glider Power Scholarship are considered national level summer training courses and therefore require a higher level of application scrutiny. It is important that you make yourself aware of the important deadlines throughout the year to assist your training officer and ensuring your application is filed on time.

- 12 December 2016 - Exam Application Due Date
- 7 January 2017 - PPS/GPS Qualifying Exam
- 13 January 2017 - Applications Due Date
- 4 February 207 - Okanagan Wing Review Boards
- 1 June 2017 Category 3 Medical Certificates due to RCSU (Pac) Air Office
- 1 June 2016 - Selected GPS & PPS cadets must meet height/weight requirements

Local Aviation Medical Examiners
It is recommended that cadets wait until they have received their results from the scholarship entrance exams and review board before proceeding with the aviation medical.
Medical is due NLT 1 June of the year of application.
